Storefront > Order Review & Placement

The Order Review & Placement screen is where the customer can make final edits to Shipping & Billing information, review the shopping cart, and add payment details to the order.

Shipping & Billing Information

  • Addresses: The shipping and billing addresses will display in this section of the screen. The user will add this information as part of the checkout process, or it will be added by an admin in the Store Admin > Users > Manage Store Users. The user does have the ability to 'Edit' the addresses if needed. 
  • Shipping & Handling - The system will display the amount of shipping and handling being applied to the order. 
  • Shipping Notes - In this field, the user can add a note that may be needed for the order. This note will display on the Pick Ticket for the warehouse.

Order Review

This section displays the items and quantities in the order, shipping & handling, and tax.

Coupon Code

When a coupon/promo code(s) is offered by the store, this section will display.  More than one coupon/promo code can be used per order.

Example: If a user has both a free shipping and half off promo codes, both can be applied to the order.

Payment Amount Breakdown

When a store is setup with a points program this section will display to any user that is logged in and part of the points program. Their points balance will display so they know how much they can put towards the order total. 

Note: This section will not display for guest users if guest checkout is setup for the store.

Payment Information

Purchase Order

When a purchase order is offered by the store as payment, this option will display as part of the payment information section.

Note: This section will not display for guest users if guest checkout is setup for the store.

If the Purchase Order has a Password then an additional field will display at checkout. The user will be required to enter to password to complete payment on the order.

Credit Card

When credit card is offered by the store as payment, this option will display as part of the payment information section. 

Note: Payers have their own minimum amount required to submit a transaction. If a user pays for most of the order using points and has a small amount they are paying by credit card and the transaction won't go through, it may be due to the payer's minimum amount not being met.

Approval Details

When a user order requires approval the following section will display at checkout. This section notifies the user that the payment on the order can be completed once the order is approved by the Approver.

Submit Order

Once the user has completed all fields needed for full payment of the order they will then click the Submit Order button. If there are no issues with the payment fields then the order will be submitted and the storefront will display the Order Confirmation screen.  

If there was any issues with submitting payment the system will display an error message with the details.
