The Points Program offers an alternative payment method for users, which you can oversee. It serves as an engaging way to reward users or as a means for team members to acquire necessary items.
You have the ability to establish various programs, each governed by its own set of rules.
Included in the program are options to send email statements to users, should you opt for it, along with reporting features for transactions, program details, and user balances. These reports can be retrieved from Store Level > Reports > Points.
Points programs are configured at the store level via Payment Methods > Points Programs. On this interface, you will specify settings across the following tabs:
Programs tab
In this tab, you will set the value of the points and determine their appearance on the Storefront. Additionally, this is the section where you can include extra programs.
Users tab
This tab allows you to select users for the program, adjust their points by adding or subtracting, and set expiration dates for points if desired.
Expiry Email tab
When expiration dates have been added to a points program, the Expiry Email tab allows you to craft an email notification that will be sent to the user when their points are about to expire.
Statement tab
Like the Expiry Email tab, the Statement tab allows you to set up monthly points statements to be sent to users.
Points Import
You can utilize the Points Import located in Data>Imports>Points Import to add data to a points program.
