Adding products is the fifth step in the quick start process.  Once this step is completed, you can proceed to setup payment methods.

Products Overview

The Product screen is where an admin can go to view a list of products for a store. The admin can also edit, copy, or remove a product in this screen.

and choose the desired action from the Action column in the product table. Utilize the search and filter features at the top of the page to find particular products.

To add a product at the store level, navigate to Products > Products, and then click on the Add a Product button to either Search Products or Create a Custom Product.

1	Add Products There are several options for adding products to a store.  Add a Product - When the admin clicks Add a Product two options will display: Search Products - This options allows the admin to search ASI products and import some of the product data to expedite the process of adding new products to a store. Create a Custom Product - This option allows the admin to manually add products to the store.  Import Products - This option allows admins to use a template to add multiple products into the store.
2	Search Store's Product List Use the search and filter features at the top of the screen to find specific products. Additionally, the dropdown menus at the column headers in the table can be used to further search and filter.
3	Store's Product List Product Name - Displays the product name from the Basic Details > General Information > Product Name field. Product Status - Displays the status of the product and also allows the admin to update the status from the main product screen.  Draft - product has never been active on the storefront Active - product may be visible on the storefront   Setting the status to Active is the first step to making the product available for purchase. This effort is finalized in the SKU tab where you will verify the Storefront Status is also Active. Archived - product was once active on the storefront but is no longer visible.  The Archive status is useful for seasonal products. Product ID - The ID assigned to the product by the system that is specific to the store. It is an internal ID specific to Commercio Company Stores and is a separate from the Supplier and Customer SKU. Supplier - Displays the supplier name from the Basic Details > Supplier and Manufacturer > Supplier field. Manufacturer - Displays the manufacturer name from the Basic Details > Supplier and Manufacturer > Manufacturer field. Action Edit - Allows the admin to make changes to the product.  Copy - If a new product needs to be added to a store and is a duplicate of another product with minor changes, the admin can use the Copy function for this process. The system will make an exact copy of the product. The admin can then go in and make the minor changes needed to the new product. Using this feature can save the admin time when adding that new product into the store. Delete - Allows the admin to remove the product from the store.

Search Products

From the Main Screen at the Store level, select Products > Products and then click Add a Product > Search Products to begin the process of configuring products and adding them to the Storefront.

Use this feature to search for and incorporate ASI products.

Products imported via ASI come pre-configured, requiring only verification and possibly minor edits before being added to the storefront.

1	Click the Back button to return to the previous screen at any time.
2	Input your search criteria into one or more of the designated fields, then select 'Search' to display in the results field (#6). You may also refine your search with Filters (#5) and have the option to 'Save this search' (#4) for future use. Click Clear to clear your search.
3	Saved searches are displayed here. Use the arrows to scroll through the cards.  Note that only the original parameters are saved. Filters are not included with saved searches.
4	Save this search Click this button to save your search to the Saved Searched carousel. Use the forward/back icons (< >) in the top right to move through the saved searches.
5	Use Filters to refine your search. Filters are not included with saved searches.
6	Results Note the quantity of results provided as you may want to further refine your search parameters based on the number. Click See details on any product to view the product details (#7).
7	Product Details are provided in this field. Use the forward/back icons (< >) to move through the product images. Click Cancel to close the screen. Click Configure to open the configuration screens (#8).
8	Click Configure to create a new product using the ASI data.   Note that this is the same process for creating a custom product, with the exception that ASI imported products are pre-populated with editable information. Create a Custom Product

From the Main Screen at the Store level, select Products > Products and then click Add a Product > Create Custom Product to begin the process of configuring products and adding them to the Storefront.

Note that this is the same process for configuring ASI imported products, with the exception that ASI imported products are pre-populated with editable information.
