When the file is successfully uploaded you will receive the following message.

When the file is uploaded, it could take several minutes to several hours for the import to be completed. The number of products being imported will affect how long the import takes to complete. Once the imported file has been processed, you will receive an email notifying you that it is either successful or there were issues. The email will note how many records processed successfully and the reason if any failed.

If any records fail to import, you will want to move those records to a new template and upload that new template to complete the import.

Completing Product Setup:

Now that your products have been imported into the store you can complete the setup for each product. This includes things such as:

  • Additional Options
  • Images
  • Storefront settings
  • SKU - Customer SKU is required to activate the Pricing and Storefront screens. The other required fields for this screen are part of the product import. You can also add a Supplier SKU, but it is not required.
  • Pricing - The import spreadsheet only allows for one Cost, Base Price, Sales Price per product. If there are pricing difference between variants that will need be updated on the Pricing screen. You can also add the additional pricing options if needed for the product at this time (User Group Discounts, Minimum Order Quantity and Quantity Breaks).
