Use the Basic Details screen to edit product details for imported products as needed. Also see the Product and Storefront Status Guide for quick reference.

1 The header area shows the current status of the product in the store (Draft, Active, or Archive), the product name and ID with a link to the product catalogue page (if available), and identifies the current tab you are working in. 
2 Status Use the dropdown to change the status of the product.
  • Draft: product has never been active on the storefront
  • Active: product may be visible on the storefront 
    mceclip7.png Setting the status to Active is the first step to making the product available for purchase. This effort is finalized in the SKU tab where you will verify the Storefront Status is also Active.
  • Archive: product was once active on the storefront but is no longer visible.
    mceclip7.png The Archive status is useful for seasonal products.

General Information Use this section to enter information for custom products, or to edit data for ASI imported products. 

For ASI imported products, you can use the Refresh icon to replace any manually edited content in the section with ASI data.

For Product Description, data pulled from ASI should be reviewed for any special characters that did not carry over as intended.

4 Appellatives and Tax Category Consult your tax professional for specifics relevant to your business.

Supplier and Manufacturer Use the dropdown to indicate the Supplier and Manufacturer information or click the buttons to create new options.

mceclip7.png Syncore users should make sure that the supplier name indicated here exactly matches the name used in Syncore.

Weight and Dimensions Toggle between Physical and Packaged to enter the shipping weight and dimensions. Data entered here is passed to ShipStation (if enabled) to help with shipping calculations.

7 Search Engine Optimization Click the on-screen help icons for guidance in setting up your SEO.
