ShipStation Integration

To manage your shipping settings with ShipStation, first ensure the integration is enabled in your organization settings.

After activating ShipStation at the organization level under Organization Settings > ShipStation Integration, follow the subsequent steps.

  1. At the Store level, select Settings > Shipping Settings, and then click Enable.

  2. Copy the API Key that is generated for the store. You will use it in Step 3 to link the store to ShipStation.
  3. Enter the number immediately prior to the number you want to use to start synching orders. To determine the current order number, go to Organization View > Orders > Order Fulfillment at the and filter on the store.
  4. Add the ship from address. Important you will also need to enter this address in your ShipStation account in Step 4. If you do not complete this step, your orders will not sync.

Go to your ShipStation account Welcome page and click Add a store to open the Connect a Marketplace page.

    1. Click on Commercio from the list of vendors to open the Set Up Marketplace Connection page.
    2. Paste or enter your API Key.
    3. Click Connect.

Verify that your Ship from address is the same in both systems and that your orders are syncing. Org level > Orders > Order Fulfillment.

Setup

These fields will change to provide the appropriate options for your selection.

1

Select from the dropdown options. If you select Free Shipping and Handling, no other selections are necessary, and the remaining fields will disappear from the screen.

If you select Charge Handling Only, only the Handling Fee is necessary, and the remaining fields will disappear from the screen.

If you select Charge Shipping and Handling, you will need to complete the remaining fields.

2 Select the method you would like to use to determine shipping fees. The necessary field will appear for you to complete.
3

Shipping Tiers defines how you want to approach shipping fees. You can choose either Order Value, which calculates shipping fees on the value of the order; or Number of Items in Order, which calculates shipping fees based on the number of items in the order.

4  Select the geographic area you will be shipping to. This information is relevant for tax purposes.

Create a freight table by setting order total ranges and associated freight costs or percentages

This option only appears if you choose to charge shipping and handling, and it will differ if you selected to determine shipping tiers by Order Value or Number of Items in and Order.

If you select this option, you will need to enter one or more lines for the order quantity (Total Min - Total Max), and either a Fixed Freight Cost or Freight % of Order Total for that order quantity range.

Click Add an Entry to continue adding additional quantity ranges and/or freight %'s (you can combine both in a single freight table).

For example, you may choose to add a fixed freight cost of $5.00 for order quantities between 1 and 20, and then add a fixed freight cost of $10.00 for order quantities between 21 and 40, and so on.

If you are using order quantities, make sure you last entry is a number high enough to encompass any order than can be generated on your site in order to avoid error messages during checkout.

Handling

The handling fee is a fixed cost. Enter your handling fee here.
