Org Level > Stores > Create a New Store

Quick Start icon.pngCreate a New Store is step 2 in the quick start process. After completing this step, you will define site visibility and security for your store.

  1. From the Organization level, select Stores > Create a New Store.
    This will open the Create a New Store page.

  2. Complete the required fields and click the Create Store button when you are ready.



    1 Store Name This required field is client facing.
    The store name and the contact name are both client facing.
    2 Default Store URL This required field is client facing and does not include any Commercio or Company Stores tagging.
    3 Copy the product catalog from another Store? Quickly populate this new Store with the same products you’ve added to another Store in this Organization.
    4 Copy the base settings from another Store? Quickly populate this new Store with the page structure, landing page layout, basic settings, site visibility and security, shipping settings, and tax settings from another Store in this Organization.
    5 Contact Name (First and Last) This required field is client facing and appears at the bottom of the page and/or in the Contact us field on the Storefront.
    6 Contact Phone Number and Email Address. These required fields are client facing. This information appears in the Contact us field on the Storefront.
    7 Address This is the physical address for the Store.
    8 Logo This is an optional field. The logo will only appear internally.
  3. You will receive a message that your store has been created.

 

Click on Go to Settings to move from the Organization view to the Store view, where you can define site visibility and security for your store.

You can also access this screen by "Jumping" into the Store and selecting Settings > Site Visibility and Security

Settings > Site Visibility and Security is where you can go to change these settings in the future if you choose to do so.
